On December 7, 2015, the awarding ceremony of translation training base for the School of Foreign Languages of Changsha University of Science and Technology (CSUST) was held in YARACE. The attendees from the School of Foreign Languages of CSUST include Vice Dean Liu Xiaohui, Vice Dean Zhou Xueting, Professor He Jian and Teacher Cao Zhiyan. Thereafter, YARACE will officially serve as the translation training base for the School of Foreign Languages of CSUST.
YARACE will expose English major students from THE School of Foreign Languages of CSUST to translation practice, so that they can put translation theories into practice and get familiar with flows of translation projects. Through practical training, the students are enabled to clearly define their goals and enhance their employment strength.
This awarding ceremony marks a new stage for cooperation between YARACE and colleges and universities, which will help YARACE seek and train translators in colleges and universities. After the ceremony, the leaders from the School of Foreign Languages of CSUST and YARACE had an in-depth discussion on future cooperation, specific implementation patterns of internship. Mr. He also checked how the students worked during the internship and expressed his requirements and expectations for them.
